Project Scope

Biogas Products Ltd were contracted to relocate existing CHP gas boosters to a location adjacent to the new Gas Holder.

This included the manufacture and installation of a new 200m, 200mm diameter, gas pipework system to connect the relocated boosters back into the digester gas system.

Design Requirement

The gas boosters were required to deliver 550m3/hr at a pressure of 100mbar from the new location.

Products/services

Our mechanical installation team completed the relocation of the boosters and installed the new stainless-steel gas pipework which was manufactured off site at our Works. Nitrogen purging was carried out as required.

Outcome

The relocated boosters are working successfully from the new location.
