Project summary: Design and manufacture biogas reheater
Project Scope
To supply a biogas reheater on an existing anaerobic digester plant
Design Requirement
To increase the temperature of 600m3/hr biogas flow by 20C using hot water from an existing source.
Products/services
A tube/shell heat exchanger is 300mm diameter x 1000mm long with 200mm NP16 connection flanges manufactured in 316SS was provided.
The Reheater was designed, manufactured, pressure tested and packed ready for shipment at our Works.
Outcome
The Reheater increased the biogas temperature and reduced the biogas relative humidity allowing the engines to run more efficiently.
